Thankful!

On this day of Thanksgiving I wanted to take a moment and share what I am thankful for in hope that it will remind you and inspire you to feel thankful as well!

I am thankful to live in a country where we have freedom of choice. I am thankful for my family and friends, and to God for all the blessings I have received in my life! I am thankful for the incredible responsibility and blessing of bringing a child into this world next year! 🙂
I am thankful for World Financial Group (WFG); for the opportunity to build an incredible business that affords me a lifestyle many only dream of. I am thankful for my teammates and my mentors for the amazing associations I’ve been able to develop.
But the truth is…how easy is it to be thankful for these things!? Many times we take it for granted but in reality its so simple to recognize the things we have and to be grateful for them! We just must remember to do it everyday; not just on Thanksgiving Day!
But what about the things we don’t have? Can we be grateful for those as well?
This year that is what I am most thankful for!
I am thankful that I don’t already have everything I desire,
If I did what would there be to look forward to.
I am thankful for when I don’t know something,
For it gives me the opportunity to learn.
I am thankful for the difficult times,
During those times I grow.
I am thankful for my limitations,
Because they give me opportunities for improvement.
I am thankful for each new challenge,
Because it builds my strength and character.
I am thankful for my mistakes,
They teach me valuable lessons.
I am thankful for when I am tired and weary,
Because it means I’ve made an effort.
It’s easy to be thankful for the good things, but a life of rich fulfillment comes to those who are thankful for the setbacks,
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles, and they will become your blessings.
Enjoy your day and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!!
